Historical events
1.In 2007--The project of 863 Program “Development and application of new techniques for rehabilitation after cerebrovascular diseases” was formally approved, and the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Huashan Hospital initiated the industry-education-research-medicine mode.

2.In 2009--Project “Research and development of integrated rehabilitation assistive devices for  prevention and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases” was formally approved, to explore and develop auxiliary tools that can help patients maintain good limb position. It was proposed to control upper limb with a orthosis and start to focus on hand function for the first time.

3.Mar 9, 2011--Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was established.

4.In 2013--The project of “National Science and Technology Support Program during the 12th Five-year Plan Period” led by Prof. Jia Jie, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of Huashan Hospital, named "Clinical Norms and Evaluation Research on Rehabilitation of Hand Dysfunction after Stroke" was set up. The project team included 60 people. In the same year, we began to cooperate with Fujian Huaqiao University and Maidong Medical Technology Limited Company to carry out industry-education-research-medicine cooperation of “Multimodal Mirror Therapy”.

5.In 2014--The Secretariat of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance started to establish the professional committee of hand function. During Nanchang Rehabilitation Medical Association Conference, Prof. Jia Jie first put forward the concept of innovative assistant devices to distinguish traditional ones.

6.At the end of 2014--Fudan University and University of Sydney began to contact, which laid the foundation for future collaboration.

7.In 2015--The project of National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program) “Research, development and clinical application of new techniques for limb functional reconstruction and awakening of consciousness disorders caused by paralysis after central nervous system injuries ” was approved.

8.Jan 31, 2015--The 2014 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was held in the Medical Park of Pudong New Area. At the meeting, it was announced that the Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation was established, and the attendees held the first round-table conference.

9.Feb 14, 2015--WeChat platform opened and published the first report to introduce that  Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was established.

10.Mar 14, 2015--The 1st meeting & work arrangement of Hand Function Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Innovation Strategic Alliance was held. At the meeting, the chairmen, vice-chairmen and standing committees were selected.

11. Mar 16, 2015--Ms. Malgorzata Golik, a physiotherapist from Poland, came to Shanghai Children's Medical Center (Hand Function Professional Committee Member) to have an academic exchange.

12.Mar 18, 2015-- Cooperative (WeChat) Platform of Hand Function Rehabilitation published the first WeChat article titled “do you know the Cooperative (Wechat) Platform of Hand Function Rehabilitation” written by Prof. Jia Jie.

13.May 21, 2015--Prof. Jia Jie and other committee members participated in Changsha Scientific Research Achievements Promotion Meeting, introducing the relevant achievements from Shanghai, and got positive response. 

14.Jun 9, 2015--The 2nd working conference of Hand Function Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Innovation Strategic Alliance was held. The meeting focused on the construction of the WeChat platform, and some important resolutions were passed by vote.

15. Jun 20-25, 2015--The 9th International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine World Congress (ISPRM) was held. Prof. Jia Jie gave a speech “Recovery of the Upper Extremity of Stroke Subjects with the Western and Accupuncture” in the venue “National Societies Special Interest Session-China：The Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine-East Meets West in Rehabilitation”, this speech was hailed as “ the voice of rehab”. 

16. Jul 2-6, 2015--The Rehabilitation Department of Huashan Hospital held the 1st session of the seminar “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation”.

17. Jul 18, 2015--During the 2nd International Conference on Neural Engineering, the last stop of the summer training course “Clinical application of neuromodulation and brain stimulation” was successfully held in Shanghai First Rehabilitation Hospital, members of the Hand Function Professional Committee participated in. 

18.Jul 24-26, 2015--Chairman Jia Jie, Secretary Tian Jing and Committee Member Lu Jiamin went to Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for investigation and exchange.

19.Aug 4, 2015--The Hand Function Rehabilitation Cooperation Platform Team carried out public welfare activities in the Department of Geriatric Dementia, Jinshan Zhongren Geriatric Care Hospital.

20. Aug 11, 2015--Prof. Jia Jie led the hand function team to Putuo District People's Hospital to discuss cooperation matters and established a cooperative relationship after that.
 
21. Aug 27, 2015--Prof. Jia Jie came to Shanghai Yangzhi Rehabilitation Hospital (Shanghai Sunshine Rehabilitation Center) to carry out training of position qualifications for 66 community- grassroots rehabilitation coordinators.

22.Sept 1, 2015--Hand function rehabilitation officially entered Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital, establishing a hand function rehab base, and managing 10 beds. The first rehabilitation orthosis production platform of Huashan system (including the production of pressure garment) is also set up.

23.Sept 8, 2015--The technical innovation project "Rehabilitation training and evaluation system of upper limbs based on motor imagery" jointly cooperated by three members of the Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance(Shanghai Maidong Medical Equipment Company, Huashan Hospital of Fudan University, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology) participated in the 2015 Shanghai Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and reached the final.

24.Sept 9, 2015--The 3rd working conference of Hand Function Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Innovation Strategic Alliance was held. It was announced that hand function rehab base was formally established in Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital at the meeting.

25.Sept 20, 2015--Prof. Jia Jie was invited to the Rehabilitation Department of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University for academic exchange.

26.Oct 8-11, 2015--The hand function team was invited to attend the 9th Asia-Pacific Congress of  Speech, Language and Hearing(APCSLH), Prof. Jia Jie gave a speech at the conference.

27. Oct 20, 2015--Hand function rehab clinical base (Shanghai Jing’an District Central Hospital) held the doctor-patient birthday party for the first time.

28.Oct 22-23, 2015--Prof. Jia Jie went to the Acupuncture and Massage Rehabilitation Department of Taizhou Municipal Hospital for hand function project investigation and gave clinical guidance.

29.Nov 16, 2015--Dr. Kristie P Koenig, Dr. Tsu-hsin Howe, Dr. Sally Poole, from the Rehabilitation Department of Steinhart School of New York University, discussed cooperation matters with Prof. Jia Jie, and visited the hand function rehab clinical base and the Hand Surgery Department of Jing’an Branch.

30.Nov 25, 2015--Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney visited hand function rehab base of Jing’an District Central Hospital , and discussed specific cooperation matters.

31. Dec 12, 2015--The Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical College in Shandong Province held a training course “New progress of rehabilitation technology”, Prof. Jia Jie gave an excellent report on this training class and brought a new definition of assistive devices therapy.

32.Jan 9, 2016--The 2015 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was held in Shanghai. The Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation held a meeting for enlarging member units and members, and nearly 300 people attended the meeting. The number of member units increased to 52, and a new group of vice chairmen, standing committees and members totaled 89. At the same time, the multimodal mirror instruments of hand function innovative products were unveiled.

33. Feb 22-Mar 4, 2016--The hand function team went to the University of Sydney and the University of Queensland in Australia to carry out comprehensive cooperation on breast cancer and expand the range of hand function rehabilitation.

34.Mar 16, 2016--The Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation was invited to participate in Assistive Devices Technology Interactive Forum of New York University Shanghai. Chairman Jia Jie made a speech at the meeting.

35.Mar 20, 2016--The work report of the Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation in the 1st quarter of 2016 was held in the Rehabilitation Department of Huashan Hospital, and the working system resolution was adopted at the meeting.

36.Apr 16, 2016--Members of the Hand Function Professional Committee went to the Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Wuxi Ninth People's Hospital for academic exchange.

37.Apr 22-26, 2016--The 1st session of 2016 (the total session 2) seminar “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation” was held in Liuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangxi. A total of more than 20 experts and more than 60 students from all over the country attended the class.

38. May 1, 2016--In Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital - hand function rehab base, ward beds expanded to 30, covering an area of one floor, the influence of hand function rehab base is gradually growing in the country

39.May 6-8, 2016--At the 2016 China Stroke Congress, Prof. Jia Jie, Chairman of the Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee, won the Expert Award for outstanding contribution.

40.May 13-15, 2016--The 2nd session of 2016 (the total session 3) seminar “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation” was held in Taihe Hospital, Shiyan City, Hubei Province. The study class has 61 registered students, 16 experts and nearly 200 people attended.
41.May 29-Jun 2, 2016--The 10th International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine World Congress (ISPRM) was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In the conference, the hand function rehab team led by Prof. Jia Jie had an oral speech and 5 posters, and 12 people of the team attended. The hand function rehab team members wearing yellow uniforms, listened, photographed, interviewed and recorded people, events and objects concerning the upper limbs and hand function of the meeting, enjoyed every associated lecture and shared them on WeChat platform. At the meeting, the enthusiastic participation of the “Yellow T-shirts” team also attracted the appreciation of domestic and international counterparts, including Prof. 0mar, the president of the congress, Prof. Li Jianan, Prof. Yan Tiebin and scholars from Taiwan.
42.Jun 23, 2016--The work report of the Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation in the 2nd quarter of 2016 was held in the Treatment Hall of the Rehabilitation Department, Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital. The meeting was presided over by Prof.Jia Jie, who summarized the work report and discussed following work and development plans of the professional committee jointly. 

43.Jul 1-3, 2016--The 3rd session of 2016 (the total session 4) seminar “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation” was held in Jining, Shandong Province. There were 60 registered students and 200 participants in total.

44.Jul 15-17, 2016--The Seminar of National Continuing Education Program “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation” was held in Huashan Hospital. The class taught Breast Cancer Multidisciplinary Collaborative Diagnosis and Treatment Mode (MDT). Three scholars from the University of Sydney and the University of Queensland were invited to teach treatment of injury, pain and sensation disturbance of upper limbs after breast cancer surgery as well as the application of kinesitherapy in the breast cancer rehabilitation, combining their clinical findings and evidence-based perspective. After the completion of basic theory courses, a 4-day operation courses about lymphatic reflow was continued, which was highly praised by all students.

45.Jul 24-25, 2016--The Chinese Medicine Hand Function Forum & Founding Congress of the Rehabilitation Medicine Hand Function Rehab Group of China Healthcare International Exchange Promotion Association, was held at Huashan Hospital. It was announced that the Hand Function Rehab Group was formally established, marking the progress of hand function rehabilitation to a higher platform.

46.Aug 26-28, 2016--The 6th session of 2016 (the total session 7) seminar “Systematic assessment and treatment strategies of hand function rehabilitation” was held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. This was the first academic forum of hand function rehabilitation in Xi'an as well as in northwest region of China.

47.Sept 7, 2016--The work report of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance Hand Function Rehab Professional Committee, China Healthcare International Exchange Promotion Association, Chinese Rehabilitation Medicine Association, and Hand Function Rehab Group in the 3rd quarter of 2016 was held in Rehabilitation Department of Huashan Hospital. Part of members gave quarterly summaries and all committee members discussed the details of Hand Function Innovation Competition.

48.Sept 8-11, 2016--The 17th Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine National Congress of Chinese Medical Association was held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Prof. Jia Jie made a report “Hand Function Rehab - the beautiful story on the road of industry-education-research-medicine”,  which was highly appraised by attendees, and the mode of industry-education-research-medicine deeply encouraged and inspired all the rehab people present.

49.Sept 24, 2016--The 1st Hand Function Rehabilitation Innovation Competition (Preliminary Competition) was held in the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. It was characterized by the innovative mode of industry-education-research-medicine, aiming to discover and incubate  innovative techniques of hand function rehab, foster and train innovative talents, and promote the development of hand function rehab.

50.Sept 25, 2016--Shanghai International Rehabilitation Forum - Hand Function Rehab Sub-forum was held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition Hall. “MDT mode of breast cancer rehabilitation” was reported as keynote speech, publicizing and promoting the rehabilitation of upper limb and hand function after breast cancer surgery.

51.Oct 26-27, 2016--Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney held the China-Australia International Forum in Suzhou. Prof. Jia Jie leading the breast cancer rehab group of hand function rehab team attended the meeting for further cooperation. Prof. Patrick Brennan,  Director of International Department and Prof. Sharon Kilbreath, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, were recruited as Guest Professors by Huashan Hospital. Prof. Jia presented certificates to the two professors on behalf of hospital.

52.In Nov, 2016--The theory of "central-peripheral-central" closed loop was published in the form of expert review in Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine, No.11 for the first time, and became the first innovative theory officially published by hand function rehab team. 

53.Dec 5-16, 2016--The 1st seminar “Advanced lymphatic technique” hosted with Australian Lymphatic Association would be held in Huashan Hospital of Fudan University. Trainees will be awarded the certificates of the Australian Lymphatic Association.

54. Dec 25, 2016--The 2016 Annual Meeting of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was successfully held. The Professional Committee of Hand Function Rehabilitation held a meeting for enlarging member units and members, added 25 member units and 30 members.
 
55.Dec 26, 2016--The 1st "Industry-education-research-medicine" Hand Function Innovation Competition, including individual competition and team competition, were successfully held.

56.Jan 25, 2017--Shaanxi Rehabilitation Hospital organized the 2nd session of RehabCoffee Academic Salon. Prof. Jia Jie, as the Invited Expert, attended this academic activity, and made two wonderful reports "Rehabilitation of upper limb and hand function from the view of central intervention" and "Rehabilitation evaluation of upper limb and hand function". That struck a chord with the scholars present.

57.Mar 10, 2017--Huashan Hospital (East Hospital) officially launched the standardized construction of "Hand function rehabilitation" pushed by Prof. Jia Jie.

58. Mar 16-17, 2017--The Meeting of Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance in the 1st quarter of 2017 was held in Huashan Hospital. Hand function team gave a special lecture of IHF(International Health Foundation) on "Rehabilitation of hand function in China", attracting the attention and recognition of nearly 30 experts from the World Neurological Rehabilitation Federation.

59.Mar 24, 2017--Physiotherapist Annick from University of Hasselt, Belgium and Dr. Gert from the University of Leuven visited hand function rehab base, and a cooperative program for feeding the elderly was established.

60.Apr 18, 2017--The working Conference of the Secretariat of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategy Alliance was held in hand function rehab base - Huashan Hospital Jing’an Branch. The meeting gave a concise and comprehensive report on the work of each departments at the present stage. 

61.Apr 24, 2017--CCTV Outlook Channel “Trace Back” Column came to hand function rehab base, Rehabilitation Medicine Department of Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital, investigating the life of the elderly, and interviewing Pro. Jia Jie, a leading figure of hand function rehab in China.

62.May 5, 2017--All the staff in the Rehabilitation Department of Jing’an District Central Hospital discussed the topic of standardized evaluation, which is the first step to standardize the cooperative mode of hand function rehabilitation, organized by Prof. Jia Jie with hand function rehab team.

63.May 8, 2017--The seminar “Postoperative rehabilitation assessment and evidence-based treatment strategies for breast cancer”, sponsored by hand function team of Huashan Hospital , in cooperation with University of Sydney, was about to recruit students. Hand function team led by Prof. Jia Jie attended the 64th session of Frontiers in Science and Technology Forum - Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence, sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. As an invited guest, Prof. Jia Jie put forward her opinions from the perspective of hand function, which aroused a lively discussion on brain synergy among the participants.

64.May 14, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie along with hand function team attended the 2nd “One Belt One Road” Health Management and Rehabilitation Engineering Seminar held in Shaanxi Province. In this conference, Prof. Jia Jie delivered a speech “Integrated rehabilitation of upper and lower limbs after stroke from the view of hand intervention”.

65.May 18, 2017--18 May, 2017 was the 1st anniversary of the relocation of hand function rehab base to Huashan Hospital Jing’an Branch. Hand function rehabilitation is booming in this year.

66.May 30 -Jun 2, 2017--The hand function rehab team visited the University of Sydney, during which they had academic exchanges on breast cancer postoperative rehabilitation again, made progress and cooperation in hand function, breast cancer, lung rehabilitation, swallowing disorder, Parkinson's disease rehabilitation, elderly cognitive rehabilitation, rehabilitation engineering, informatization and other aspects. 

67.Jun 10, 2017--The 3rd Huaxia Rehabilitation Forum was held in Guiyang. As the leader of the 1st founded group - hand function rehab group, Prof. Jia Jie introduced the achievements of hand function group in the past year.

68. Jun 16, 2017--Hand function rehab team came to Urumqi, Xinjiang, taking part in the 9th International Orthopedic Rehabilitation Forum, Prof. Jia Jie explained the development and influence of hand function team to attendees in a clear and concise way, and got a lot of recognition.

69.Jun 24, 2017--Hand function rehab team returned to “The Silk Road”, carrying out a training course “Upper limb and hand function rehabilitation technology” in Gansu Province, and received a warm response.

70.Jun 28, 2017--Hand function team led by Prof. Jia Jie arrived at Department of Breast Surgery, Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. This communication enabled the breast surgery department to have a certain understanding of breast cancer postoperative rehabilitation, and at the same time strengthened the study of clinical knowledge of breast surgery for the rehabilitation medicine department, making the clinical medicine and the rehabilitation medicine truly united.

71.Jul 2, 2017--The seminar of National Continuing Medical Education Program “Technology promotion of hand function rehabilitation matters in 2017” organized by the hand function team   recruited students. At the same time, the team in Nanyang made the rehabilitation concept of the hand function team go deeper into Nanyang Nanshi Hospital.

72.Jul 5, 2017--The work report of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Hand Function Rehab Group, Rehabilitation Medicine Branch, China Healthcare International Exchange Promotion Association, Rehabilitation Medical Association Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee in the 2nd quarter of 2017 was held. The meeting summarized the results in the 2nd quarter and was well received by all.

73.Jul 7, 2017--Based on the ideas of improving the rehabilitation circumstance of the western region in China, we specially recruited students for the seminar “New technology of rehabilitation medicine”, a national continuing education program, in Shaanxi Province.

74. Jul 10, 2017--In order to better work on the project of Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, “Research and development of multimodal synchronous feedback hand function rehabilitation evaluation and training system engineering prototype”, the hand function team had communicated and discussed with two subproject members in Shanghai.

75. Jul 10-19, 2017--The hand function team actively prepared and successfully held the 3rd session of National Continuing Education Seminar “Breast cancer rehabilitation”. The class has made great achievements, and breast cancer postoperative rehabilitation is spreading across the country.

76.Jul 10-19, 2017--Based on the healthy, sound rehabilitation mode promoted by hand function team, the launching meeting of "Research on the promotion and application of appropriate techniques for hand functional rehabilitation after stroke under the concept of “Inflection Point Recovery" was held in Maqiao community health service center, Minhang district, Shanghai.

77.Jul 15, 2017--The Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Professional Committee of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was formally established, which was the first special committee with breast cancer rehabilitation as the breakthrough point in China. The committee members covered 12 provinces and cities, aiming to guide the establishment of standardized methods for breast cancer rehabilitation in China, and to do a good job in evidence-based medical research on breast cancer rehab.

78.Jul 13-17, 2017--The seminar “Postoperative rehabilitation assessment and evidence-based treatment strategies for breast cancer" was successfully held. This class had enrolled more than 40 students from most regions of China, and it would clinically promote the development of breast cancer rehabilitation.

79.Aug 5, 2017--Hand function team arrived in the ancient capital Xi’an, sowing the seeds of the idea of hand function rehabilitation in this city with a long history.

80.Aug 10, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie with her team arrived at Zhongshan Hospital, teaching the importance of hand function rehabilitation for young residents from all departments.

81.Aug 12, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie arrived in Henan Province, lectured hand function rehabilitation concept, latest theories ans technical achievements in the 1st hand function rehab seminar of Henan, receiving a warm welcome from everyone.

82.Aug 27, 2017--Hand function rehab team arrived at Maqiao Community - cooperative member, and visited the construction of Inflection Point "Auspicious Fang", a neighborhood center health service station, deeply feeling that our concept of rehabilitation is correct, we would certainly adhere, inherit and develop it. 

83. Aug 17-19, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie arrived in Taizhou to guide hand function rehabilitation for the cooperators, and visited their featured technologies, deeply gratified by the development of hand function in Taizhou.

84. Aug 23, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie arrived at Shanghai Rehabilitation Center to taught basic rehabilitation knowledge for its key components - volunteers for the disabled. 

85.Aug 24, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie gave a lecture “Integrated rehabilitation of upper and lower limbs after stroke from the view of hand intervention” in the First People's Hospital of Qujing, Yunnan Province, and received warm applause from all the attendees.

86.Aug 25, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie was invited to Rehabilitation and Domestic Medical Supplies Fair - Rehabilitation Robot Innovation and Development Forum. As a guest speaker, she explained the present situation of hand function rehabilitation apparatus and its automation, and pointed out the future development of rehabilitation robots.

87.Aug 27, 2017--The number of people following the Cooperative (WeChat) Platform of Hand Function Rehabilitation exceeds 2W.

88.Sept 2, 2017--Prof. Bart Vanrumste from University of Leuven, Belgium and Prof. Chen Wei from Fudan University visited hand function rehab research base to discuss the process of cooperative projects.

89.Sept 7, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie along with breast cancer rehab group went to member units of Shanghai Electrophysiology and Rehabilitation Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee & Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Professional Committee to give free clinics to more than 30 breast cancer patients after surgery.

90.Sept 9, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie attended the 3rd Yantai Breast Cancer Forum & Breast Cancer New Progress Seminar, jointly discussing new progress in the treatment of breast cancer .

91.Sept 15, 2017--Hand function rehab team was invited to “Integration of traditional Chinese and western medicine rehabilitation treatment for hemiplegia after stroke” Seminar held by Rehabilitation Department, Kunming Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, teaching relative innovative rehab treatment technologies.

106.Nov 25-26, 2017--Prof. Jia Jie with breast cancer rehab team took part in the 2nd Zhongshan Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment Innovation Forum held by Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University, bringing valuable innovative knowledge to other experts.

Prof. Jia Jie, from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University was elected as the first chairman. Meanwhile, two monographs on hand rehab function “Hand Function Rehabilitation” “Theory and practice of Hand Function Rehabilitation” were released grandly, as well as the Platform of Hand Function Rehabilitation.

130.Mar 24, 2018--The 2nd International Seminar of Intelligent Rehabilitation Innovation and Application & 2018 Geriatric Rehabilitation Forum and Innovative Design Competition was held successfully in Shanghai University of Medicine&Health Sciences. Subject report “Attention to sensory dysfunction in hand function rehabilitation” presented by Prof. Jia Jie and subject report “Elderly breast cancer lymphedema and comprehensive detumescence treatment” presented by Dr. Ruan Xiangmei were awarded honorary speech certificates.

131.Mar 26, 2018--Prof. Jia Jie on behalf of Rehabilitation Medical Association Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee visited Canada College of Naturopathic Medicine. And discussed scientific cooperation possibility in rehabilitation of hand and upper limb function after stroke and breast cancer surgery with Prof. Cooley, Dr. Zheng Qingping. Such as combination of physical, occupational and natural therapies, and the application of natural therapies for lymphedema or pain after breast cancer.

132.Mar 27, 2018--Prof. Jia Jie on behalf of Rehabilitation Medical Association Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee visited iDAPT associated scientific projects of Toronto Rehabilitation Center, reporting development of hand function rehabilitation, and discussed  related research as well as further cooperation with researches.

133.Mar 29, 2018--Prof. Jia Jie on behalf of Rehabilitation Medical Association Hand Function Rehabilitation Professional Committee arrived at University of Waterloo, visiting Bionic Engineering Lab, Ergonomics Lab, Geriatric Research Center, etc. Meanwhile, she discussed hand function, breast cancer, the elderly disease rehabilitation and possibility of further cooperation with Prof. Jiang Ning, Prof. Jennifer Boger and Prof. Clark Dickerson.

134.Apr 6, 2018--Prof. JiaJie and Li Peng, CEO of Maidong Medical Company, were invited to College of Physical Education, Huaqiao University, to meet with the team of Prof. Chen Hongmiao in Quanzhou. They visited Human Science Laboratory Center in the morning, experiencing “The Third Ear” produced for deaf-mutes, which was co-invented by College of Physical Education and College of Engineering.

135.Apr 30, 2018--Prof. Jia Jie with her team had a meeting with pulmonary rehabilitation specialist Jenny Alison, from Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, discussing clinical research of lung cancer rehabilitation. That was the formal beginning of cooperation in pulmonary rehabilitation between Huashan Hospital and University of Sydney.

136. May 1, 2018--The hand function team met with the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Sydney, to expand the research on breast cancer rehabilitation, develop community rehabilitation, and weave a web between the northern and southern hemispheres.

141.Jul 20-23, 2018--China-Australia Advanced Seminar for Pulmonary Rehabilitation MDT (perioperative period of lung cancer) were successfully held in Huashan Hospital of FuDan University.

142.Jul 28-30, 2018--The Seminar “Post-operative standardized rehabilitation treatment for breast cancer & lymphedema and occupational psychology workshop” was held successfully in Jing’an Branch of Huashan Hospital.
